Survey of Historic Landmarks
An excellent database of information from the National Register of Historic Places is provided on-line by the New York State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO). To research a particular landmark and obtain data for submitting the survey, just follow these steps:
Click Here to access the NRHP Database
Enter basic search criteria, such as County: Tioga, Location: Owego.
Click on "RESULTS".
Find the landmark of interest, then click on the "Text" icon to view detailed information, click on the "Photos" icon to view associated pictures.

Click on a County Name from the List.
A list of ALL landmarks in the selected county will appear, with basic information from the National Register.
