Tioga County Courthouse
Owego
Tioga County Courthouse is the oldest functioning courthouse in New York State. It was the second courthouse to be erected in Owego. Placed on the National Historic Register on December 26, 1972, it was the first building in Tioga County to achieve that status. The original towers (two stood 115 feet high, and two stood 92 feet high) were lowered in 1931 due to deterioration.
