Binghamton Historic Preservation Design Guidelines
A Public Open House will be held at the PAST offices during First Friday, September 2 from 6:00-9:00pm, to introduce and present the City’s updated Historic Preservation Design Guidelines. Anyone interested in learning more about the Guidelines document and how it relates to the continued preservation and enjoyment of our historic resources can stop in. The Open House format will allow visitors to come and go over the course of the evening.A series of boards highlighting elements from the Guidelines, as well as copies of the draft document, will be available for review. We encourage anyone interested in the City’s extensive collection of historic architectural treasures to stop in!
Binghamton Historic Preservation Planner H. Peter L'Orange and PAST representatives will be on hand to discuss the guidelines and answer questions.

BINGHAMTON'S BEAUX ARTS CITY HALL
An exhibit of current and vintage photographs and architectural drawings of Binghamton's original City Hall. Designed by Raymond Francis Almirall and built in 1897, this is the only example of French Renaissance Beaux Arts-style architecture in the area.
THE ROSS BUILDING GREEN MAN
See the original Green Man salvaged from demolition of the Ross Building in Binghamton. A photo display tells the amazing story of salvage, repair, restoration, and finally, replication of this architectural treasure.
